A quick birthday gift

But be warned, I've used my trusty map book again. And actually I have another project nearly ready to show you using it again.

I just love that it personalises a gift so easily! Plus it looks pretty cool.

(In case you love maps as much as me the map monogram project is here.)

Izzy couldn't resist getting in her little painted nail. The horrors of having aunties who are teenagers!

The photo is an old wedding photo of my mum and dad, my mum has never been that keep on the frame so she gladly let me change switch it out for a plain one so that the map could stand out. Behind is not only where they met and were married, but also on the card is where my dad grew up. Well got older at least.

It really is as easy as it looks, cut out and stick (I'm sure that's also what they're teaching my three year old at school...wonder what that says about me!).

For the card I did Mod Podge everything on, but only because it was brand new and I was over excited. You could just glue.

An added bonus to this gift?

I know he can't throw it out or leave it in a cupboard. My mum would totally give him 'that face', for days.

I'm such a lovely daughter. :)
