Izzy's Room - The Real

Izzy's book nook. Can you tell she likes playing there with Ethan. And that our library books are still in a pile in the living room...bad mum!

Her dolls things are normally on the floor. And the dolls clothes are not normally on the dolls.

Under her bed are her tea set, doctors kits (yes, we need two, we have a LOT of injured dolls, teddies and visitors in this house) and other lesser-used, stored items like board games in the boxes.

Inside Izzy's wardrobe is unusually tidy. Normally the box on the left is overflowing with bedding. But I went through it and donated all but two sets of bedding for each bed. You can see that it nearly closes now ;) The bag on the left is her church bag she shares with Ethan, full of colouring books, jigsaw and books. The one on the right has all of her dressing up clothes. It's not too bad actually, but maybe that's because most of her shoes are by the door right now...I won't shock you with a photo of our entrance right now, needless to say it's been snowing and I'm lazy.

On top of Izzy wardrobe is her breakable tea set, it's there so that Ethan can't reach it, Izzy's idea! The box has present in (and under) it.

Actually while taking these photos I realised that it would take just as much time as photographing to pull down the box and put the ugly bags inside!

On the right are gifts we collect year round for the kids. I love sale shopping, but to stop from spoiling the kids I pop them in here and save for birthdays and Christmas. I also have birthday party presents for Izzy's friends and at least on boy/girl gift in case I forget!

My favourite just in case gift are these cool salt and pepper shakers I got for £1! So cool. But now I'll have to make sure I don't give them to anyone who reads my blog!

So that's Izzy's room on a normal day! Just the right amount of mess for a fun kids room I think! Now I only have our bedroom to show you before I show you some real rooms from some amazing guest bloggers! I'm so excited!

Enjoy your week!

    1. Thank you! It's a surprisingly nerve racking thing to do! I don't even let my friends see my home like this! But I do love that people are coming and saying that it's like theirs, makes me feel so normal :)
