Handmade handkerchiefs

My husband's granddad is turning eighty this week so I wanted to make him something personal but useful.

I settled on some handkerchiefs because he does fit the stereotype and uses them all the time!

I started with a 12"x12" square and did a zig zag stitch around the outside. You can just stop there, but I decided to hem them and ended up with these:

They are far from perfect, but they are handmade and Andy's granddad loved them!

I did a quick monogram on one too.

With all the packaging...

And all ready to go!

(I am loving the 'Smirk' products at the moment, that's where this paper comes from, plus I was given some of the chipboard pieces too. I love that they seem to have a little person to fit anyone! (This is totally Andy's granddad above!))

Oh yeah brackets inside brackets. I'm just that cool.

In other news my daughter is getting use to me having the camera out all the time!

I love that pout!

*Disclaimer, Sainsbury's did not pay me to show their 'basics' range bread. We are actually THAT cheap when we feed the ducks.*
